Coconut Mist Cake

 

Bake 375º for 20 to 30 minutes.

 

1 cup butter½ tsp baking powder             

3 cups flour

¼ tsp salt

2 tsp baking powder

1 cup milk

1 tsp almond extract

1 tsp vanilla

1 cup coconut

 

Sift flour, salt and powder.

Cream butter. Slowly add sugar and beat until fluffy.

Add egg yolks one at a time and mix well.

Mix milk and extracts together.

Alternating between milk and flour mixture add to the butter mixture.

Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold into the batter.

Pour in greased and floured pans.  3 loaf pans.  Bake.  Cool and remove.

 

Frost with cream cheese frosting (or other frosting) and put coconut all around.
