Green Tea Cake
3 cups all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons matcha powder
½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
1 ¾ cups granulated sugar
4 large eggs, room temperature
2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup sour cream
Bake cake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until a tooth pick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool the cake in the pan on a cooling rack for 10 minutes, then invert it onto another rack.
Syrup for Cake
1 cup of sugar
1 cup of water
1 tablespoon matcha powder
Mix on stove until sugar dissolved. Brush on cake.
